Wanna Learn Preschool
2012 - 2013 Program
Our Philosophy
We view children as unique and interesting individuals and have respect for who they are now, as well as for their potential. Children are encouraged to wonder, explore, and make new relationships. We provoke ideas and offer preschoolers a multi-aged environment with many opportunities for learning.
Our Goal
Our goal is to foster an environment that promotes an attitude of life-long learning while nurturing each child's self-confidence and sense of wonder.
Our Curriculum
Our Reggio inspired curriculum centers on the philosophy that children learn by playing. We offer an atmosphere in which they are encouraged to try new things, stimulate their desire to take on new challenges and feel free to explore. Preschoolers participate in group activities such as: art, music, creative movement and dramatic play, as well as move around the center and choose individual activities in our play kitchen and dress up areas, sensory table, manipulatives, puzzles, mini-indoor Basket Ball Room, Makoto electronic sports arena, writing and reading centers.
